Bee Mobile MessageBox is multimedia-friendly.
Posted on September 23, 2011
The new release of Bee Mobile MessageBox will bring even more functions and style to your Windows Mobile applications. The new release is more “multimedia friendly” as it now supports images, icons, sounds and also provides auto-close functionality.
The ability to display an icon over MessageBox has certainly been missing. Now you can assign PNG images to MessageBox (make use of the transparency alpha channel of course) to make it more “juicy”. You can also simply assign a WAV file to MessageBox to make it play a sound whenever the user taps its button.
The auto-close functionality is a great improvement mostly for Windows CE developers. Yes, now you can specify an auto-close timeout in seconds. When the time runs up, MessageBox will automatically close itself as if the user tapped the currently selected button.
Existing customers can download the new version from the customer web portal completely free of charge.
