Features of La Roca for Windows Mobile
The application allows the users to read the Holy Bible in Spanish on their Windows Mobile (the English version is currently being developed). La Roca allows users to save bookmarks for reader’s favorite passages and make categories. The GUI is configurable in terms of Font and Font Size, colors and position of the files. The user can search for text within the whole Bible, change versions of a Bible translation and read parallels in 2 selected versions.
Bee Mobile components used in the project
The essential component to La Roca is a finger-scrollable TextViewer component responsible for displaying the actual content of the Bible. With it the users have a comfortable experience while reading the book.
To display a list of user’s bookmarks TouchList component has been used. TouchList is also finger-scrollable which positively affects the user’s experience. The other transparent controls (such as TVistaButton, TPanelVista, TLabel, ComboBox and MessageBox) all cooperate beautifully in La Roca application to give the reader the most pleasant experience possible on Windows Phone platform.
